Nancy Ann Ashley

Born July 10, 1939 in Spokane, Washington to Esther and Leo Kuntz; went to Eternal Life on July 27, 2010. Nancy attended St. Pauls grade school and graduated from St. Joseph Academy in Yakima, Washington; followed by Seattle University. A very proud Mother, survived by her daughters and best friends, Jean (Matt) Oppliger and Heather (Dave) Thomas. The lights of her life were her seven grandchildren: Justin (Erin), Jim, Nathan, Jeff, Brandon, Adam, and Aimee; one great grandson, Gabriel; her sister, Kay (Tom) Fujita; and her adoring niece, Angie Mollett. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shirley (her best friend). Mom was totally dedicated to her faith a member of Holy Rosary Parish of Edmonds since 1960. She retired in 2000 from bookkeeping with Dr. Stanley Zeitz after 24 years. In October of 2007 she became an event hostess at Edmonds Conference Center; she loved the people and the job. Her favorite things included spending one-on-one time with her grandchildren, going on walks, and will be remembered for her good nature; blah, blah, blah (hey, this is what she wrote); she was more about others than she was about herself.
