Nancy Farnham, 77, died August 26, 2016. Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 1:00PM Monday August 29, 2016 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Bauguess officiating. Interment will be in the National Veteran’s Cemetery in Salisbury. A native of Iowa Falls, Iowa. Nancy was the daughter of the late William Earl Kemp and Edna Mae McAlpine. She was married to the late Herbert Farnham. She was retired from the US Government Personnel Division at the Naval Research Lab in Washington, DC. Her loves were reading, playing Bridge, and long conversations with friends. Survivors include her sister Karolyn Kruger and Bruce Brady of Kernersville; brothers William Earl Kemp, II and Mary of Gastonia, and Jim Kemp of Kernersville; step-children Barry Farnham and Emily Farnham; two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends beginning at Noon on Monday at the funeral home.
