Nancy Alleene Graesser, March 30, 1930 ~ Sept. 9, 2009. Born in Vallejo, CA to Ellie Mullen and Vivian Dunker-Mullen. Graduated Armstrong Collegein Berkeley, CA with an ABS Degree in Merchandising and Advertising. Married to Roger Nelsen 1952 - 1979. Nancy was a resident of King County since 1960. She married Douglas F. Graesser in 1984, and has resided in Bothell for the last 25 years. Her interests included: member of Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, Renton; member of Bothell United Methodist Church; a member of the Clover Leaf Rebekah Lodge 54 of Bothell; past Noble Grand; representative of the Grand Lodge; Past President of Rebekah District Assn. 25; District Deputy President of Rebekah Assembly District #38; past Chief Matriarch of the Snohomish Unified Encampment #25; member I.O.O.F. Bothell Lodge #124. Nancy was a devoted wife, loving mother, home-maker and care-giver. Nancy is survived by: her husband, Douglas F. Graesser; her son and daughter-in-law Mark and Stacy Nelsen, their children Cherylynn Nelsen-Brownback and Kristen Nelsen; daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Tom Kametz; son and daughter-in-law Cliff and Michelle Nelsen, their children Max and Olivia Nelsen; step-daughters Margie Howard and Deborah Voves and their families. Nancy will be remembered for her smile and loving heart, her faith in God and service to her community. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bothell United Methodist Church, 18515 92nd Ave NE, Bothell, WA 98011 on Friday, September 18, at 1:00 p.m. Remembrances to the charity of your choice.
