Nancy Tyler King, of Pioneer, CA, passed away at the age of 66 on Friday, December 21, 2018, in Jackson, CA. She was born in Livermore, CA on May 23, 1952 to the late Frances C. (Tyler) and Edwin M. Burr. Nancy grew up in Sunol, CA. She loved animals, including her favorite horse JR. Nancy’s last job was driving 18 wheel trucks, which she loved. The family wants to give special thanks to Hospice of Amador and Calaveras for their exceptional caring service to Nancy, who suffered from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). Nancy is survived by her devoted other half, Michael Munson of Pioneer, CA; daughter, Kimberly Hornsby of Phoenix, AZ; step-children, Katrina Beck (who was also her long time caregiver), Courtney, Todd and Brian Munson of Pioneer, CA; sisters, Cindy Roberts and Georgia Riley; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren; step-mom, Joanne Burr of Reno, NV. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s name may be made to CurePSP, 1216 Broadway, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10001, www.psp.org.
