Nancy Komatsubara
November 5th, 1927 - June 30th, 2024
Nancy Hisaye Komatsubara passed on June 30, 2024, at the Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, CA, following her fractured femur surgery.Nancy was born on November 5, 1927, to the parents of Kunisuke and Shizuno Kawamoto.Preceded her in death was her husband, Shigeru Komatsubara; and her three brothers, Kunio, Dick, and Tom Kawamoto. Nancy married Shigeru on October 28, 1951.She is survived by her children, Susan Gin (husband Frank), Kenneth Komatsubara (wife Erin), and Stacy Hayano (husband Sam); she has three grandchildren, Derrick Gin (wife Stella), Brian Hayano, and Lauren Hayano; her three great-grandchildren, Brandon Gin, Rachel Gin, and Jaden Oh. All her grand and great-grandchildren loved and adored her.Nancy worked for Valley Truck and Tractor for a few years and then worked at Beeler Ford Tractor until she retired in 1989. Nancy was an active member of the Marysville Buddhist Church and the Fujin-kai for many years.She also loved to golf and was proud of her "hole in one". She also enjoyed gambling, trips, and spending time with her family.We will miss you, Mom. You deserve this rest and peace. Nancy requested a private family service.
