Nancy Virginia Moore

Moore, Nancy, age 83, of St. Petersburg, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. She was born in West Virginia but was raised in Philadelphia. Nancy moved with her family to St. Petersburg in 1972. She later met Victor Moore and remarried in 1988. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and very focused on her large family and group of friends. She was active at Starkey Road Baptist Church for many years. Nancy enjoyed playing golf and hosting family and friends for food and card games. She was preceded in death by several siblings and her daughter, Ginny Blair. Nancy is survived by her husband, Victor; daughter Sandi Kidd (Doug) and son Joe Blair (Sandra); granddaughter Kristen Black (Bruce); great-grandson Brayden; great-granddaughter Brooklyn; brother Roger Dillow; sisters Helen Morrison and Lois Ritchey; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 16th at 10:00am at Anderson McQueen Tyrone Chapel, 7820 38th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL with a reception to follow. Burial at Florida National Cemetery will take place at 2:30pm.
