Nancy Obenchain Omeron, age 73, passed away on January 8, 2019 after a year-long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Burridge/Bill; daughters Susie and Tiffany (husband Ben); grandsons Nate and Graham; and brother Tom (wife Hillary). The family is grateful for the support of Lutheran Hospice. Born in South Bend, IN, Nancy grew up in southern California and attended the University of Redlands and USC. After marrying in 1968, Nancy and Bill lived and worked in Honolulu as CPAs. They moved to Lakewood in 1971 and have lived there since. Nancy’s passions included bell collecting, supporting and volunteering for the Second Wind Fund and actively serving in her PEO Chapter. She loved to travel. Nancy made several trips to Europe and found her happy place on the island of Molokai. There will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Nancy’s honor to the Second Wind Fund [899 Logan St, Ste 311, Denver, CO 80203] or to the PEO Foundation Program for Continuing Education [3700 Grand Ave, Des Moines, IA 50312-2899 specify “CO Chapter GE”].
