We are very sad to hear that Janet is gone. We met her and her family some 25 years ago when we spent 6 months in Ft. Collins. With Claudia and our boys Janet practiced her German and prepared herself for trips to Germany. I loved Jans compassion for others, for her family and for Christ. She was an inspiration to me in my daily walk with Christ, getting me involved with the bell choir at church or becoming involved in the nursery, Jans love for serving was contagious!! I may only be 23 but I will always remember the time I spent with my dad and dan around the funny car and working on my dad’s pickup. I wish I could have gotten another opportunity to see him. He will be greatly missed.

Not many people step into your life and leave a lasting impression. Dan Rajkovich was a friend, mentor and inspiration to many. His cool leadership skills and openness to listen set him apart from others. I worked with Dan on almost every launch (11 years), and he was the guy you wanted to please and ensure all his requirements were met. His dedication and knowledge to the mission was matched by no one. I remember talking to Dan before leaving for Africa. At that time he was not diagnosed with cancer and appeared healthy. He told me to go for it. (I believe he had a gift of seeing peoples dreams and potential.) He encouraged many. Dan, my brother, my friend, you will be missed but never forgotten. I will see you later down the road……

I met Dan at Onizuka AFB in 1985. I worked with him on many projects in many different places and under amazing conditions. I sincerely doubt that I will ever have the pleasure of knowing another man of equal character. Dan Rajkovich was the best.

Gail and I knew Dan for almost 8 years and we will miss him. We would enjoy his visits when he would come over the house for a beer or when we worked kitchen duty at the Marion House. He trusted me when others would not, and gave me the tools to taken on the hard tasks. He was there as a friend and confidant, always listening and when asked, would show you a new way at looking at the problem. I will miss his smile and his great launch chili.

Rajk, I will say to many people that it was my priviledge to work with them. To you I say it was my honor! You were one of the few people who was always available to talk on either a professional level if we had questions about the mission or on a personal level to see how we were doing out of work. You are my friend, my co-worker, and a mentor on so many levels. I can never thank you enough for your interest in my career and my life. You will truly be missed. God be with you!!

Thank you for sharing Dan with me and our NOPS family. He was such a wonderful mentor, friend and big brother to me. Dan had such a great heart. I appreciate my time with our friend at work and during volunteering at the Marion House. His heart is the largest of anyone’s that I’ve ever known. I’ve had the privilege of working with Dan for over ten years. During that time, Dan was a personal friend, and an exceptionally professional leader and co-worker. He excelled in everything he did, whether at work at SAFB, at home as a husband and father, fixing up and racing cars, and when volunteering his time for charities such as Marian House. I hope his family knows there are a lot of us out here that loved and will continue to love Dan and all that he represents. I’ll see you in heaven, brother.

I worked with Rajk for nearly 3 years and can truly say that as a military member it was a priviledge to see the true dedication to mission and patriotism Dan represented throughout that part of his professional career. He was an exepceptional leader & person and will be sorely missed!

My sincere condolences to the Rajkovich family and extended family at NOPS. Dan’s contributions to the country through his expertise at work and his personal hand at mentoring young officers will leave a lasting impression on this country in many ways. He will be sorely missed.

I was impressed. I heard Rajk’s name before I ever met him. I knew of him before I ever worked with him. His reputation was awesome and well deserved. He was even more impressive in person. He was honor personified.

A friend, co-worker, a hero and a mentor. It was a huge pleasure to learn from such an experienced and knowledgable person; true dedication to the mission and the people around him. You set the standard high, in every aspect. We may have lost one of our own, but Dan, you will never be forgotten. Especially our J-walking tickets in Manhattan Beach….

I worked with Dan for 5 years. He always had a smile on his face and was always willing to help no matter how busy he was. I enjoyed working with him at Marian house as well. He had such a big heart and you could tell he genuinely enjoyed helping others. He will be greatly missed.

Working with Dan was a fulfilling experience, his passion and sense of mission were full. He loved his family, and his job and did both well. He was a Man.

I’ve known Dan for more than 20 years, on the job and crewing on his Funnycar. He was enthusiastic and dedicated in everything that he was involved in. I can honestly say that I have never known a more caring and giving individual. I always appreciated his support and friendship, for myself and my family. He will be greatly missed.

I knew Dan for about 6 years and one thing about him that will always inspire me is that he always took the time to chit chat with me about engines and the different projects I was working on. I asked so many questions and he had answers for all of them. For someone like him with all his knowledge and experience to take the time to teach me a thing or two was always a very humbling experience. I’ll miss you Dan, travel well on your journey brother.

Twin...why did you leave me?  I've put this tribute off as long as I could because I don't want to do this.  Majid, you and I had a special bond/understanding.  We didn't have to talk all the time but when we did, we picked up where we left off, that's how we were.  You were me in male form and I was you in female form, TWIN.  I love you so much and my heart hurts knowing your presence is no longer on this earth.  You will always live in my heart. I will always smile on August 30th and celebrate you, the life you lived, and the happiness we gave each other. I have no doubts about your love for me and I know you know my love for you is everlasting.  Rest easy baby, tell Grandmama, Grandaddy, your dad, Uncle James, BaeBro, Tasha and Uncle J.W. how much you all are missed down here.  Watch over us and we'll see you soon.

I just can't believe it. I feel like I'm in a dream. You have been in my life ever since we were 13 yrs old at Sproul Jr High School. Always running around with your inhaler and chap stick. 😊 Then you were  still running around Wide field High School with your inhaler and Chapstick.😊. You always had a smile that could melt any girls heart. No matter where I lived in the world. We always kept in touch. All I can say is Destiny and I will miss you and love you always. I met Majid many years ago. We discovered our birthday's were one day apart. He was an easy to get to know person. Before I knew it we were hanging out off and on. I told him that I had family in Trinidad and he said he was going to Trinidad State College there. I would give him rides back to school every so often and take time to see family. His heart was always in sports medicine and sports all together. We lost touch and one day he popped into my mind and I looked for him on FB. We quickly caught up with the developments of our lives and how proud we both were of our kids. I can't say enough about Majid. I'm very sad that he left this earth way too soon. I'm grateful I had the privilege to know him. He has created a great legacy in his children, family and friends. Not everyone can say that they left this earth with such a legacy. He touched and taught everyone he knew and loved a great deal. He will be missed but never forgotten. I want to thank his family for sharing this man with us and I'm sending healing prayers and thoughts to them.

Mr. Holt truly was a beautiful soul. A beaming smile at the gate of Ceder Heights. Through the heat, cold, or late at night, he always popped out with a kind attitude and a happy smile. I really felt like he spent the time remembering those who came in. He will be truly missed.

I express to you my sincerest condolences. 
I lost a piece of my childhood, the day I heard the news of Majids passing.
I did not realize how much of an impact he had on my life until March 19, 2024. Since that day, I have spent much time trying to find out what happened, and who Majid Holt “is”.
What an amazing man!!
I am blessed to have had the time I did and am overjoyed at seeing how he made an impact on others.

I’m one Majid’s many cousins in Nashville, Tn. We always loved it when we could all be together either in Georgia at our grandparents house or in Nashville.  All I remember is having lots of fun, listening to great music. When we were younger, Majid ALWAYS clued us in to what the hot new hiphop records were. Even though we haven’t been able to see each other regularly like we once did, Cuz will still be missed. There’s a big hole in all our hearts but we trust that he’s resting with God and his Father, Uncle Henry Lee❤️

I only knew Majid for a short amount of time and I can say in that short time I knew him he was very kind and calm. Most of all I appreciated how he was with my mom, Orie. He made her the happiest I've seen her with anyone, and I was so happy that she finally had a partner to do life with. I can honestly say that I see what everyone else describes in him. A gentle giant. He was great to my kids, me and my siblings and we will truly miss having him around. Rest in Heaven Majid. 

Majid was family, a teammate, coach, entrepreneur, and an amazing father.  He had love for all of his kids. I'm going to miss him but I know that he's on a better place. Rest ez Big Dog!

Joette, the life you gave to Majid was one filled with love and joy!  He was an amazing young man!  I will always remember Majid as the big gentle Teddy Bear!  His smile was the perfect smile for that teddy bear!  He was always so gentle and could win you over with that smile and sad tears if needed. He loved is baby bottle and was not happy when he was taken off of it!  He went through baby bottle rehab! The love I shared with Majid can never be taken away from me. That love will always and forever be with me!  I will cherish my memories of Majid and let them bring me joy and comfort, not sadness. Majid is with the Lord now and he will never, ever suffer anymore.  He would not want to see anyone full of sadness.  I thank God for the many years I got to know and love Majid.  Tiffany, Majid and my daughter Donna were like 3 peas in a pod!  They spent lots of time together as Joette and I hung out together as inseparable sisters.  Joette and Tiffany, God truly blessed you with an amazing son/brother who loved you both so much! We can take joy in knowing that we will be reunited with Majid in heaven!! REST IN PEACE MAJID AND KNOW THAT YOU ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE LOVED!!
