February 13th, 1940 - April 16th, 2020
Nancy Pope Potts, 80, of Colfax, NC, went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2020. Nancy was born February 13, 1940 in Stokesdale, Guilford County to the late Gertie Merritt Pope and Avery Bryant “A.B.” Pope. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her Husband, John Thomas Potts; Sisters, Margie Catlett, Bernell Jessup, Geneva Warren, Pauline Middleton; and Brothers, A.B. Jr., Amos, Jessie, Herbert, Wallace, Ray, Tommy, and Lee Pope. Survivors include; Son and Daughter-in-law, Joe and Jessica Potts; grandson, John Thomas “JT” Potts, and many extended family and friends. A private memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont and/or Alzheimers Association.
