Nancy O. Robins
February 18th, 1943 - July 25th, 2021
Nancy O’Neill Robins, 78, of Falls Church, Virginia, passed away in Arlington on July 25, 2021. Born in Luray, Virginia on February 18, 1943, to Leo M. O’Neill and Virginia Brumback O’Neill, Nancy graduated from Luray High School and Madison College and was an elementary school teacher in Arlington for 34 years. She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Robins, her sister, M. Jane O’Neill, her niece and her husband, Laura and James Clancy, and two great nephews, Padraig and Liam Clancy. Nancy loved to share the joy of learning and devoted her career to teaching children at Tuckahoe Elementary School. She is remembered by those who knew her as first and foremost compassionate; she made everyone who knew her feel important and loved. Nancy ensured that she was always there for her family and the people that she loved. Her friends remember her as always being the life of the party, as she found fun in everything she did. Nancy had a lovely singing voice and created several musical CDs to sell in support of various charities. Her signature song was “The Rainbow Connection.” We are all richer for having had Nancy in our lives, and we are grateful for her beautiful and loving legacy. On September 18, 2021, a celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at Capital Baptist Church, 3504 Gallows Rd, Annandale, VA 22003 at 11:00 a.m. For those who would like to attend virtually, please visit the following link: https://streamingchurch.tv/stream8565 >https://streamingchurch.tv/stream8565<
