Lexington-A Graveside service for Nancy Lee Wood will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Hephzibah Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Bishopville, South Carolina. Mrs. Wood was employed as an emergency room nurse at the Lexington Medical Center from 1975 through 2005, and for an additional six years as an outreach nurse. Nancy was known for her pleasant demeanor, her smile and laughter and her love of life. She had a great love and respect for all of nature, both plants and animals. She will be missed. Surviving are her husband, John P. Wood, her two sons, Clifton and David Cason and her step son, Jeffrey Wood. The family would like to thank Crystal, Ashlyn, Ariel, Juanita, Jamie, Allison, Loretta and all those at Lexington Hospice House for the care and compassion given to Nancy during her last months. Memorials may be made to Lexington Hospice House, 128 Library Hill Lane, Lexington, SC 29072.
