Nannie Harris Fowke

Nannie “Nan” Harris Fowke, of Cayce SC, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024, after a short illness. Nan was born in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Jeptha A. and Helengene M. Harris. Nan is survived by her children, Michael Fowke (Vonda), Helen Kline (Kevin), Catherine Woodcock (Jamie), and Mark Fowke (Karin); her grandchildren, Kristina Kline, Kaitlyn Kline, Lily Woodcock, and Grace Woodcock. She was predeceased by her husband, Havener “Hal” Fowke. Nan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother as well as a dedicated servant of God. She was a founding and active member of Palmetto Church of Christ. Nan retired from the Civil Process Unit of the Richland County Sherrif’s Department after 20+ years of service. Services will be held at Palmetto Church of Christ, 7000 Nursery Road, Columbia, SC 29212, on Sunday, February 18th, 2024, with visitation at 1:00 pm and the funeral at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow the service in Woodridge Memorial Park. Junior Beasley, Kevin Grindstaff, Wade Holton, Chip Holton, Jeff Honeycutt, and Warren Mitchell will serve as pallbearers. Rick Woodley and David Switzer will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be sent to Southeastern Children’s Home, PO Box 339, Duncan, SC 29334.
