Naomi Lois Burg died on September 16, 2021 in Hawkins, TX. She was the only child of Herman and Marian “Mickey” Pottel and grew up in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Toledo, and earned a Masters of education degree from University of Florida. She taught elementary school for thirty-four years. Naomi was a member of Congregation B’nai Israel in St. Petersburg and a life member of Hadassah Her husband predeceased her; Murray “Berg” and she companion Warren “Wes” She is survived by her son, Alan Berg (Nancy Louthon), 6 grandchildren and 8 great-randchildren, Naomi dedicated her life in service to others. If you would like to make a memorial donation, the family suggests either Congregation B’nai Israel or to Hospice.
