Natalie Danene Larkins, aged 59, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024, in Ladson, South Carolina, her final resting place. Born on December 17, 1964, in Tiffin, Ohio, Natalie spent the majority of her life living in Florida before settling in South Carolina.
Natalie is survived by her loving husband, Melvin Harold Larkins III, and their three children: Alicia Danene Johnson, Jennifer Renee Roest, and Melvin Harold Larkins IV. She also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Cannon, Landon, Katelyn, Ethan, and Colton.
Natalie will forever be remembered for her dedicated service to her community, particularly her decade-long commitment to the family readiness board for the National Guard. She was a true gem, always providing a shoulder to lean on, a listening ear, and understanding without judgment. Natalie ensured that her family and friends knew she was their biggest cheerleader, always ready with encouragement and support.
An intimate celebration of Natalie’s life will be held on August 31st in Moncks Corner, SC, with a public celebration of life held on October 12th at John Chesnut Sr. Park from 12pm-4pm shelter #9.
