Nathan Francis Smith
March 25th, 1995 - June 25th, 2018
Nathan Francis Smith, 23, of Lexington, KY, passed away on June 25, 2018, in an auto accident in Asheville, NC. Born on March 25, 1995, in Lexington, KY, Nate was a graduate of Bryan Station High School. Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Kenny Smith and Dana Fugazzi-Smith; his sister, Natalie Smith; his grandparents, Joy Karlene and Frank Fugazzi, and Shirley Smith; his uncle, Mark Smith; his aunt, Debra (James) Linton; his special uncle, David (Lisa) Adams; his cousins, Jenny (Josh) Mincey, Zac (Charlene) Woodward, Christy Smith, and Jackie (Bryan) Coffman. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Archie N. Smith, and uncle, Walt Smith. Nate enjoyed history, music, boating, camping, reading, and, most of all, vacations at the beach with family and friends. He was a kind, loving, big-hearted soul with tremendous devotion to his family and friends. His intelligence, compassion, quick wit, love for other people, love for animals, and his free spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew him. We thank God for the time that He gave Nate to us. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, with a service to begin at 7:00 pm, at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing, 601 E Brannon Road, Nicholasville, KY 40356. www.clarklegacycenter.com Donations in Nate’s memory may be made to the Lexington Humane Society, 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, KY.
