Nathan Kevin Wirfel

Nathan Kevin Wirfel, 23, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021. He was born in Lexington, KY to Kevin and Cheryl Simpson Wirfel on June 20, 1997. Nathan was a 2015 graduate of Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School and earned his associate degree in Business Marketing. He was studying for his bachelor's degree at Indiana Wesleyan University. He loved watching football, especially Tom Brady. However, he never left his allegiance to the Patriots. In addition to his parents, he will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Ashley (Andre) Dias, FL; paternal grandparents, Leo and Joann Wirfel, OH; aunts and uncles, Gary and Kathy Simpson, Lisa (Dave) Mykytiuk, Carolyn Wirfel, Janeane (Jim) Murphy and Brian (Felicia) Wirfel; and many loving cousins. Nathan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Roy and Dixie True Simpson. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:30PM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. A Private Service for the family will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Southland Christian Church Community Outreach.
