Nathaniel David Lee Crow was born In San Antonio, Texas on July 30, 1991. He was adopted at birth by Loren and Cheryl Crow and spent his first 11 years living in Texas where he enjoyed friends and neighbors, soccer, and fireflies. In 2002 the family moved to Oregon and he attended South Eugene High School where he played tuba in the band and participated in varsity wrestling. He received his GED and went on to earn his two year Automotive Technology certification and an Associate’s degree from Lane Community College. Nathan married Tamon Watkins at the age of 20, and though separated, they remained good friends. Nathan was a joyful, funny, compassionate and kind person. He enjoyed nature, including hiking, fishing, and floating the river and found just about any animal endearing. He loved people and cared deeply for family and friends. He was a member of St Mary’s Episcopal Church. Nathan also enjoyed being a mechanic, learning to grow mushrooms, and playing basketball or working out at the YMCA. Nathan passed away on October 15, 2023 and predeceases his parents, Loren and Cheryl Crow. His funeral will be at St Mary’s Episcopal Church (13th and Pearl Street in Eugene) on November 10th, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Donations can be made to St Mary’s memorial fund in his honor, to be donated to causes he cared about.
