Nathon David “Nate” Bergman, 32, of Watertown passed away Friday, September 27, 2024. 

Nate was born on February 28, 1992 in Watertown.  He graduated from Jefferson High School in 2010.  After graduating, Nate worked for his family business for four years with his father, Chris.  Most recently, Nate worked at Vaanguard for four years.  In 2023, Nate started dating the love of his life, Alyssa Rydzik.   

Nate enjoyed basketball, spending time with family and friends, being outdoors and fishing, and preferred dogs over most people.   

Nate is survived by his parents, Chris and Jennifer Whaley; children, Brooklyn and Jordy and their mother, Kayla, Willa and Nate’s partner, Alyssa Rydzik; brother, Donnelly (Megan) Whaley; sister, Elizabeth (Jonnathan Gomez-Flores) Whaley; grandmothers, Linda Gallagher, Millicent Whaley; many more family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Kent Bergman; grandfathers, Chuck Bergman, Ray Kniess, Donald Whaley; and grandmother, Flora Bergman. 

Funeral services will take place at 4PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home, 900 West Racine St., Jefferson, WI 53549.  Visitation will take place from 2PM until the time of service.
