Nelson Thomas LaVere
January 21st, 1933 - October 1st, 2016
Nelson Thomas LaVere (83), went home to be with the Lord on October 1st 2016. Tom served in the Air Force and was a proud Korean War veteran. Tom was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and served as a Church elder and usher. He is remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara and three children, Jeff (Robin) LaVere, Kimberly (Stephen) Launikitis and Pamela (Bill) Murphy. Tom is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one step granddaughter. Grandchildren; Christopher (Vanessa) LaVere, Amanda (Kyle) Hawkins, Michael and Megan Launikitis, Matthew and Joshua Murphy and Katie LaVere. Great grandchildren; Grace, Hannah and Adalyn LaVere. Step granddaughter, Lauren Cesal. A memorial service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on October 15th, 2016 at 400pm. In lieu of flowers, Tom requested that donations be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Job well done. Go rest high on that mountain, we will see you soon. Following the service everyone is welcome to join the family for food at 2714 Colewood Lane Dover, FL 33527.
