June 9th, 1944 - April 24th, 2016
Obituary Nicholas Lee Lovitt, 71, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, April 24th, 2016. He was born to Delmar and Ellen Lovitt on June 9th, 1944 in Baltimore, MD. His family moved to the Colorado Springs area in 1957. He graduated from Widefield in 1961, attended Western Michigan, and served in the US Army. Nick worked successfully in the Real Estate field for 50 years. He was named an "Outstanding Young Man of America" in 1975 and served as president of the Colorado Springs Board of Realtors in 1982. He is survived by his children, Genevieve, Darius, and Jamie; a sister, Bonnie & Patrick Hart; a niece, Lori & Eric Henkels; a nephew, Patrick & Jenny Hart; a brother, Lindsay Lovitt; and beloved extended family and close friends. Nick was a lifetime NY Yankee fan and enjoyed watching CC Hockey, but most of all, spending time with friends and family. Services Cappadona Funeral Home 1020 E Fillmore St Colorado Springs, CO 80907
