Nicholas "Nick" Thomas Miller, 61, lifelong resident of Salinas, passed away on April 7, 2015. in Salinas. He was born on July 30, 1953 in Buckeye, Arizona and came to Salinas as an infant that same year. Nick had proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam War veteran. Nick was extremely proud of his Indian ancestry; reading and studying and collecting Indian history. He loved and worshipped our Great Creator, God, also known as "Wankantanka" in Indian lore. Today, Nick is in his "Happy Hunting Grounds". Nick is survived by, his mother, Grace A. Miller brothers, Terry (Sharon) Miller and Robert (Erin) Miller sister-in-law, Doris Drost along with several nieces and nephews all of Salinas. He is preceded in death by, his father, Harry Miller and his brother, Gunner Miller. Private services will be held.
