Nicole Dawn Contini

Nicole Dawn Contini, age 48, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011. Nicole was born September 7, 1963 in Detroit MI to the late Tony Clark and Beatrice Dokes Nicole was very active in the Democratic Party, serving as a precinct captain at the Democratic Caucus. She was also active in Mountain Faith Ministries and the Democratic Black Caucus; organizing a brunch for President Obama. Nicole enjoyed fencing, tennis, gourmet cooking and was a wine connoisseur. Nicole is survived by her husband, Louis P Contini; sons Theodore Waterhouse of Oak Park MI and David Lopes Providence RI; mother Beatrice Dokes of Oak Park; grandson Jamison Lopes of Providence; siblings Jahmal (Kim) Dokes of West Bloomfield MI and Ashley Griffin of Oak Park; niece and nephew Kamari and Jaden Dokes; aunts Vernell Walker of Ocala FL and Grace Griffin of Detroit MI; cousins Kim (Victor) Poole, Robert (Teasha) Walker, Rodney (Tireatha) Griffin, Douglas (Angie) Griffin, Damon (Tanika) Griffin, Tracei Griffin, Georgia Hardin, Brenda Cook and Curtis Wallace and many other family and friends. A memorial service will be held 11:30 am on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV.
