Nicole D. Nye

Nicole D. "Nicki," Nye, 63, of Tierra Verde, FL, died Saturday, February 18, 2006 at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. She was born in Warren, OH and moved to Tierra Verde in 1997 from Hudson, OH. She was a supervisor of Special Education for the Kent, OH public school system and then was a manager for the Nye Financial Group's St. Petersburg office. She was a 1963 graduate of Wesleyan College in Buckhanon, WV and a 1968 graduate of Kent State University with a Master's Degree in education. She was a member of the Hope Community Church in Hudson, OH and attended the Island Chapel in Tierra Verde. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, John B. Nye, Jr.; two sons, Eric "Rick" and John "Randy" both of Hudson, OH; her mother, Laura M. Hilbinger of Zephyrhills, FL; and seven grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to Nicki's Celebration Of Life being held at Hope Community Church 3033 Middleton Rd. Hudson, Ohio 44236 Saturday, February 25, 2006 beginning at 1:00 P.M. and concluding at 3:00 P.M. with refreshments to follow at Nye Financial Group's corporate headquarters located at 7941 Ravenna Rd. Hudson, Ohio.
