Nikkola Ra "Nikki" Castro, age 81, of Yuba City, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 16, 2021. She was born on August 23, 1939, in Hammon, Oklahoma, to Walker and Katie (Wright) Ackley. Nikki graduated from Marysville High School and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be dearly missed. Nikki is survived by her daughter, Cathy Underwood, of Yuba City; stepchildren: Yolanda Romero, of Yuba City, Diana Castro, Mary Perez, Anna Castro, Charlie Castro, Salvador Castro, all of Marysville, and Terry Castro, of Woodland; sister: Pat Bussy, of La Morada; 2 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; and 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Castro; daughter, Danielle Keenan; son: Terry Gail Irwin; brother, Tommy Ackley; and parents: Walker and Katie Ackley. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 10 a.m. at Sutter Cemetery. Ullrey Memorial Chapel is assisting with the arrangements.
