Nioma M. McManigle
September 8th, 1927 - December 21st, 2020
Nioma McManigle passed away at the age of 93 at Palm Garden of Winter Haven. She was a resident of Polk City, Fl. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Leonard McManigle, her parents and brother Robert Evans. She is survived by her three children, Robert (Kathy) McManigle, Kathi (Jim) Saladrigas and Peter McManigle. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Scott (Amy), Rick (Kelly), Mike (Sarah), Sheri (David), Patrick (Riku), Robert and Scotty. Her large family includes 10 Great-grandchildren: Matthew (Terra), Micah, Amber, Aiden, Nathaniel, Jacob, Maddie, Chris, Stella and Colton, along with one great great granddaughter Peyton. Nioma was a retired bookkeeper, crossing guard and journalist. She was active in many civic groups such as Eastern Star, VFW, Ruritans, Grange, Womens’ Club and was even named Polk City Citizen of the year.
