Noah Malachi Ortgiesen
April 10th, 2002 - October 14th, 2014
Noah Malachi Ortgiesen, 12, of Eaton, died Tuesday evening, October 14, 2014 after a horrible motorcycle accident at his home. Noah was born April 10, 2002 in Greeley. He attended Eaton schools and was currently a 7th grader at Eaton Middle School. Noah was a still water that ran deep. Quiet, but loud at the same time, he never missed his opportunity to speak his mind or tell a funny joke. He loved to make people laugh, often with a smirk on his face. He enjoyed playing basketball, video games, and fishing. Noah was also an avid Denver Nuggets fans, regardless of wins or losses. He will be remembered as a loving child with a heart of gold, always lending his helping hand to his most prized possessions, his little cousins. Above all else, even regardless of what he would say, Noah’s biggest fan, best friend and sidekick, was his big brother, Isaiah. Noah is survived by his parents, Nicole and Mike Donlon of Eaton; his brothers, Isaiah Ortgiesen and Preston Donlon; and his sister, Kynder Donlon, all of Eaton; his grandparents, Doug and Deb Knight of Brush, Helen Donlon of Greeley, and Bill and Sandra Donlon of Pueblo; his great grandmothers, Marvel Hoff of Torrington, WY and Ella Mae Gibson of Greeley; his great-great grandmother, Clytie Starkey of Scottsbluff, NE; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that will miss him dearly. Services to celebrate Noah’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 18th, 2014 at the Evangelical Free Church of Eaton, 1325 3rd Street, Eaton, CO 80615. Interment will follow in the Eaton Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 17th from 5 - 8 PM at Adamson Chapel. Memorial donations may be made in Noah’s name in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
