Noble Orman Ruyle

Orman Ruyle was born in Rockford, Nebraska to George Warren and Ethel Mae (Hensley) Ruyle. When Orman was five years old, the family moved to Greeley where he attended school, graduating from Greeley Central High School in 1936. On December 22, 1940 Mr. Ruyle married Marguerite Shupe in Greeley. Together they farmed and ranched until their retirement. Orman was a past president of Greeley Central FFA and also State FFA Secretary, a member of the First Place National Dairy Judging Team, Boyd Ditch Company board member, a member of Greeley Wesleyan Methodist Church serving as a board member for 22 years and was currently a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Greeley. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and snowmobiling. Orman died Friday, January 26, 2007 at his home in Greeley. Survivors: Wife, Marguerite (Shupe) Ruyle of Greeley; son, Jim Ruyle and wife Melva of Greeley; daughter Jan Kaufmann and husband Dave of Johnson, KS; four grandchildren, Gene Ruyle of Greeley, Jill Briddle of Elizabeth, CO, Paul Kaufmann of Greeley, and Jon Kaufmann of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and a close family friend, Lino Garcia of Greeley Preceded in death by: Three brothers, Marion Ruyle, Glenn Ruyle and Wayne Ruyle. Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2007 at Adamson West Chapel; and one hour prior to the service at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2515 W. 16th Street in Greeley. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Greeley. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley. Note: Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of the Nazarene or the American Heart Association in care of Adamson Memorial Chapels 2000 47th Avenue Greeley, CO 80634.
