Noel Taylor 71 of Englewood, FL passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024 with his devoted wife Diane by his side.

Born on April 4, 1953 to Noel and Corinne (Saunders) Taylor in Nassau Bahamas. 

After graduating from Aguinas College, he left the Bahamas with a basketball scholarship to a college in Nebraska. He then moved onto the University of Rhode Island.

Noel retired from the RI Department of Corrections after 26 years of dedicated service.

He excelled in basketball, softball and golf. 

He is survived by his loving wife Diane Plante Taylor, his children: Trevor, Cori, Donee, Emily, Devon and Chante Taylor. Stepchildren Kim Jones and Gregory Plante as well as 13 grandchildren, his brothers Bookie, Glenroy, and Orville Saunders and his late sister Dorothy Taylor.
