Nola D Miller

February 3rd, 1952 - August 22nd, 2024

Nola Diane Miller, 72, of Thornton, died unexpectedly at home on August 22. She was passionate about her faith in Jesus and about people. In spite of her self-perception as an introvert, she projected friendliness and caring wherever she went, and people responded to her warmly. Nola worked in retail for many years, and for the last several years of her life, she enjoyed her work as receptionist for Stevinson Motors of Lakewood. Nola was a member of Brave Church in Westminster; she loved to pray for people and did so fervently every day. She sent daily scriptures to many people as well. She was the third child of the late Clyde and Doris McPhetrige, and beloved sister of Cheri Markward (RI) and David McPhetrige (CA) with his wife, Deborah McPhetrige. Nola was predeceased by her brother Patrick McPhetrige and by her husband Mike Miller. She leaves sisters-in-law Sandra McPhetrige (wife of Pat) and Laura Miller, mother-in-law Sandra Silverberg, brother-in-law Rory Miller, nieces Natalie Markward, Sarah Gaskin, and Erin McPhetrige, nephews Anthony Markward and Jamin McPhetrige, a great-niece and nephew Claudia and Brody Gaskin, many friends and coworkers who were blessed by her love and life. A memorial service will be held at Brave Church, 11500 Sheridan Blvd., Westminster, CO at 3 pm MDT on Wednesday Sept. 11.

Beverly J Popanda

My name is Beverly Popanda and my husband & myself worked with Nola for many years at the Stevinson Automotive Dealerships. I say dealership(s) plural because I actually worked for Toyota & when I met Nola she at Stevinson Lexus. In any case I worked at more than one of their dealerships. But that is not why I'm writing this today. It is for my husband Rick & I to express our sincere condolences to all of Nola's family. I loved Nola, she was a wonderful co-worker & friend, and it is with a heavy heart Iam saying, Rest In Peace beautiful lady, you were loved by many! Beverly & Rick Popanda
