In Loving Memory of Norma Louise Bibby Norma was born on March 31, 1933, in Newport Arkansas and passed away on November 12, 2019 in San Diego, CA. She was the daughter of Maudie Ellen Jackson and adopted by Charles Gilbert Osborne. Norma was preceded in death by her loving husband Allan Bibby. Everyone who knew Norma and Allan adored them. Throughout her life there were many challenges and all were met with a solution, not a complaint. Her generosity was without limit and always a positive force in our family. She was a Mother, housewife, investor and Leader in the early days of the school lunch program. In March of 1979, she married the love of her life Allan Bibby and in their later years became his caretaker and spokeswoman. Norma was the most beautiful and brave woman and loved her life with Allan. Norma leaves behind her loving brother Calvin Osborne and wife Brenda of Cabot, AR; son James H. Stevens and wife Cathy of Cardiff by the Sea, CA; son Keith Stevens and wife Gayle of Prescott, AZ; Step-son Dr. Christopher Bibby and wife Keri of Woodinville, WA; Step-daughter Caroline Prather and husband Richard of Kingman, AZ; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Norma also leaves behind many special friends at Bonita Hills Estates in Spring Valley, CA. Although she didn’t get a chance to say goodbye to everyone, the family appreciates their kindness and heartfelt condolences. The prayer quilt gifted to her in hospice from Beverly and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Chula Vista was a great comfort to Norma in her last days. The family would also like to express their gratitude to Noble Living in San Diego for providing Norma with the utmost loving care. Noble Living provided the most graceful, dignified, and compassionate passing and the family is grateful for the respect and safe environment shown to Norma during her last days. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts and prayers. In lieu of flowers, please cherish the time spent with Norma and Allan. Services will be private.
