Norma Jean Johnson
October 22nd, 1945 - August 26th, 2015
Norma Jean Burchfield Johnson, age 69, of Surgoinsville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. She was a member of Long's Bend Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Burchfield and Zelma Burchfield Presley. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Donald Johnson; daughters, Trina Barrett and Tonya Tate (Brian); grandchildren, Hanna Barrett, Mackenzie Tate, Kendrick Tate and Zoee Tate; sisters, Earline Bellamy (Tommy) and Joan Nelms (Chuck); many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill and anytime at the home of daughter, Tonya Tate in Church Hill. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm with Pastor Gary Gerhardt officiating. Interment will follow at the Johnson Family Cemetery on Stanley Valley Rd. in Surgoinsville.
