Norma M. MacPherson

MacPherson, Norma M., 83, of St. Petersburg, died Monday October 18, 2004 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center after a short illness. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, she moved here in 1994 from Needham, Massachusetts. She was a Presbyterian and a graduate of Bryant and Stratton Secretarial School in Boston. She held successive key secretarial positions with the Harvard University Graduate School of Business, Boston Museum of Fine Arts and Andover Newton Theological Seminary. She spent two years working for the United Fruit Company in Golfito, Costa Rica. She was a talented amateur painter and loved sewing and crafts. She is survived by three brothers, Robert of St. Petersburg, Douglas of Cambridge, Mass. and Roy of Camden, Maine and nine nieces and nephews.
