Norma Jean Purdy Norma Jean Purdy age 84 was born November 18th 1936 in Cebolla NM. She was called to be with our Lord on December 10th 2020. Norma was raised in Cebolla by her Grandparents: Jose Danue Bustos and Maria Elena Bustos. She is preceded in death by her son Robert Joseph Purdy, Grandparents: Jose Danue Bustos and Maria Elena Bustos, parents: David & Elena Martinez, brothers/sisters: David Martinez, Vernon Martinez (Billie), Florinda Villa, Dan Bustos (Rosalie), Eugene Bustos (Lucy), Jake Bustos, Fernanda Martinez, Isabel Jaramillo, Luisa Samora. She is survived by her children: Michael Purdy (Gerie), Norman Purdy (Darla), Margie Chavez (Steve), Christine Villa (Phil) and a special friend who's like a daughter: Rachel Vigil and kids, Grandchildren: Jessica (Wayne), Cassandra (Anthony), Michael Jr., Alicia (Jose), April (Roland), Ashley (Jeremy), Joshua (Constancia), Chelsea (Erik), Cory (Kristen), Shaun (Vanessa), Brian (Alyssa), Beth (Jerome), Lanz (Angelena), Jack, Daniel, and Adrian. Great Grandchildren: Joshua, Elise, Lylah, Lillyana, Aria, Christopher, Ellison, Nicholas, Dylan, Natalee, Anthony, Jeremy, Matthew, Talia, Cory Taylor, Oliver, Oaklynn, Dakota, and Jeremy Isaiah. Brothers/Sister: Ron Martinez, Rudy Martinez, Rosie Alcantar and the father of her children Michael C. Purdy, and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Norma was a Christian with a huge heart who made friends easily and was always willing to help anyone in need. She loved to go to yard sales and thrift stores. She loved visiting with family and friends. She loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids and would go to the ends of the earth for them. She married Michael Purdy and lived in Albuquerque where she was a homemaker and devoted, loving mother and wife. She later made her home in the Espanola valley where she lived for the remainder of her life. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
