Odessa Shiver Riggins-Fuentes
April 15th, 1933 - June 11th, 2020
Odessa “Dessa” Riggens Fuentes (Shiver), 87 of Weeki Wachee, passed away June 11, 2020. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kennis and Vickie Riggins; 3 daughters, Rebecca “Becky” Willis, Lynn and Robert Tebo, Celeste “Celie” Fissell; and her brother, Coil Shiver. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Dessa was born in Norman Park, Georgia and moved to Florida in 1962. She was a GTE Computer Specialist (retired 3 times), a member of Great Life Church and enjoyed reading, gardening and her family. She had a green thumb and could grow anything. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 15 from 12-1 pm at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O’Lakes Blvd. Land O’Lakes, FL 34639 with a Funeral Service to follow the visitation at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery with her beloved husband Jack B. Riggins who predeceased her in 1990.
