October 27th, 1925 - January 16th, 2017
On Tuesday, January 17, 2017, Ofelia Mena entered eternity. Ofelia is the wife of the late Juan Mena; mother of Yadira, Ney (Leticia), Dwight (Regina), Kay (Paul) Mena; grandmother of Arlen Aguilar, Tania (Erich) McGuffey, Kristina Mena and Maiten Mena; step-grandmother of Frances (Matthew) Cox and Francisco Legaspi II; step-great-grandmother of Matthew Gabriel Cox. She is survived by two siblings Dora and Ricardo. Family and friends are invited to Ofelia's Life Celebration/Viewing on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 3:00-5:00PM at Rapp Funeral Home located at 933 Gist Avenue, Silver Spring, Md. 20910. Internment will be held at a later date in Nicaragua in Central America as it is wished by Ofelia to be buried with her late husband, Juan.
