Olga Cisaretti

Mrs. Olga Cisaretti, 96, formerly of Forest Avenue, Amsterdam died peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2021. Born in Amsterdam, NY she was the daughter of the late Antimo and Elvina Salvione Spagnola. A lifelong city resident, Olga attended local schools. She was employed for Fownes Brothers for many years until her retirement. She was a devout catholic and a parishioner of the former St. Michael the Archangel Church and Historic St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her husband Victor Cisaretti; four sisters, three brothers; and her great grandson, Dylan Roy. Survivors include her two daughters, Victoria Nelson and her husband Bill; Donna Martuscello and her husband Dr. Gary Selbert; five grandchildren, Renee (Troy) Butler, Jackie (Tony) Meola, Michael Martuscello, Erik Nelson and Mary Nelson; one sister, Jean Shecton; eight great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters; nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will take place at a later date. Burial will be in the family plot at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
