Olga Zostautas
September 22nd, 1921 - April 25th, 2013
Olga Zostautas, 91, formerly of Vanderveer St., Amsterdam passed away Thursday evening April 25, 2013 at the River Ridge Living Center LLC. Born in Amsterdam, NY on September 22, 1921, a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Mitulinski Witkowski. She was a lifelong resident of Amsterdam and was a 1939 graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School in Amsterdam. She was employed for many years by Breier Co., of Amsterdam, Mohawk Sportswear and the Amsterdam Coat Company as a seamstress. Olga married Albert Zostautas in 1946. He passed away in 1977. She was also predeceased by a son Thomas Zostautas in 1978 and her brothers, Leo and Peter Witkowski. Survivors include one son, Robert Zostautas and his wife Theresa of Schenectady, NY. A granddaughter, Jennifer Lescovich. One great-grandson, Thomas Lescovich and a great-granddaughter, Lindsey Lescovich. Sisters-in-law, Anna Witkowski, Florence Witkowski and Ruth Zostant. Brother-in-law, Chester Zostautas and his wife Charlotte. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. In honor of Olga's request there are no calling hours or funeral services. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Amsterdam.
