Olivia Catbagan
April 22nd, 1929 - August 14th, 2017
Olivia Lozano Catbagan, 88. lifelong resident of Monterey county, passed away on August 14, 2017 at her home in Chualar, CA. She was born on April 22, 1929 to Abraham and Estefana Lozano in Texas. Olivia previously worked at NMC, where served 35 years of dedicated service in the housekeeping department. Olivia is survived by, her daughters, Amelia Robinson, Virginia Catbagan and Estefana Catbagan-Lavia sons, Mariano Catbagan, Jr., Vincent Catbagan, Arturo Catbagan and Prisco Tabios and their spouses. 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren also survive. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mariano Catbagan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 5pm, all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, August 21, 2017 11am at St. Theodores Catholic Church 125 Center St. Gonzales, CA 93926. Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
