Opal A. Godsey

Godsey, Opal A., 87 of Largo, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, February 23, 2003 at Largo Medical Center. She was born in Virgina and came here in 2002 from Lynchburg, Virginia. She was a Public Health Nurse for 10 years, retiring from the Amherst County Health Dept., Virginia. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monroe, VA., where she was a Sunday School teacher, held Back yard Bible Schools and served on numerous committees. She also was a member of the Garden Club in Lynchburg, VA. She attended the First Baptist Church in Largo. Survivors include 2 daughters, Joanne ?Jody? A. Godsey-Baur of Seminole, Elaine J. Godsey -Freim of Gloucester, VA, 1 sister, Mary Sue Childress of Lynchburg , VA, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
