Lexington, Kentucky Opal Blanche Smith, 45, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center of pneumonia. She was born January 25, 1968 in South Williamson, Kentucky to the late Walter Boone and Opal Blanche Smith. She is survived by her significant other, Glen Allen Ray of Lexington, Kentucky; sisters, Janet Carol (Tillman) Smith Caudill of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Gloria Annetta Smith Spears of Wheelersburg, Ohio; brothers, Danny Lee (Judy) Smith of Fairborn, Ohio, Donald Lee (Cheryl Lynn) Smith of Frenchburg, Kentucky; nieces, Linda Kay Daugherty Spurlock of Detroit, Michigan, Brenda Fay Daugherty of Detroit, Michigan and Barbara Jean (Patrick) Walters of Detroit, Michigan; nephew, Gary Keith Daugherty of Warren, Michigan. Funeral Information A gathering of family and friends will be held 2:30-4:30pm, Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.
