August 22nd, 1924 - July 10th, 2020
Orazio A "Larry/Tootsie"Maggitti, 95, resident of Atlantic City and Deptford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, July 10, 2020. Legacy Orazio was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He enjoyed to be around his family. He work for over 35 years at the Ritz-Carlton in Atlantic City, NJ. He retired as the General Manager. He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. Family He is the beloved husband of 60 wonderful years to the late Carmella A. Maggitti (Paone). Devoted father of his son Dr. Michael (Nancy) Maggitti and his daughter Karen (Gerry Sr.) Corsi. Treasured grandfather of Camille (Brett), Michael (May), Olivia (Ryan), Dr. Gerard Jr.(Andrea), Stephanie (Dr. Daniel) and Christopher. Adored Pop Pop of Norah, Claire, Tyler, Alessandra, James and George. Son of the late Grace and Nazzareno Maggitti. Dear brother of Rose, predeceased by Vincent and Splendora and brother-in-law of Gloria and Dolores. He will be missed by his family and friends. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 18th, 2020 in the Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret's RC Church(address is below). Interment Eglington Cemetery Clarksboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Saint Vincent de Paul Society at Infant Jesus Parish or Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret's Church, 3rd & Beech St., Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097.
