Pamela Grace Aasen

Pamela Grace Aasen, 69, passed away April 17, 2017 in Olympia, Washington, her home of 48 years. She was born April 23, 1947 to Lee and Zelma Thompson in Spokane, Washington. Pamela graduated from Mountlake Terrace High School, and had a career as a hairdresser. She married Ronald Aasen on January 16, 1968. Pamela was loving and caring to family and friends, but had a stubborn streak as well. She enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, and shopping with friends. She loved family outings, Seahawks football, and especially doing things with her grandchildren. She also adored going to Seaside, Oregon. When younger, she rode horses and trained and showed dogs. She was a life member of VFW Auxiliary Post 318. Pamela is survived by her husband, Ronald Aasen; son, Philip Aasen, his wife Denise, and their son, Benjamin; son, Kevin Aasen, and his children, Chase and Allison; brother, Ron Hanson; and sister, Dawn Slusher.
