Pamela Ray Shaw

Pamela "Pam" Ray Shaw, 65, of Charlotte, NC, went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2023 after a year-long battle of ALS. She was surrounded by her family. She was born on May 29, 1957 in Asheville, NC to Vance Hedrick Ray and Georgia Owenby Ray. Pam met her husband Jeffrey Alan Shaw of 44 years in Charlotte, NC. They had two girls Alisha Nicole Shaw and Jennifer Haley Shaw. She was a hard working woman who loved her family very much. She enjoyed spending time with her family, dogs, and cat. She always kept her faith in God. She will be truly missed by those who knew her. Pam is survived by her husband Jeffrey Shaw; her daughters, Alisha Shaw and Jennifer Shaw; her brother David Ray and wife Peggy Ray; her sisters Gayle Ray and Wanda Ray; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Vance Ray; her mother Georgia Ray; her brothers Richard Ray, Doug Ray, Bobby Ray, and Carl Ray; and her sister Carolyn Ray. A visitation will take place from 9:30am-10:30am on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 followed by the funeral service at 10:30am at Hickory Grove Baptist Church 7200 E WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC 28215. The burial will follow the funeral service at Sharon Memorial Park.
