Pancheta Anne Leimgruber-McKenzie

Pancheta Anne Leimgruber McKenzie, 68, of North Port, passed away November 4, 2022, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL. She was born October 1, 1954, in Kingston, Jamaica to John McKenzie and Lucille Walker. Anne graduated Handsworth Wood Girls High School in 1970. She worked in many different areas throughout her life, most recently as a dietary assistant at Gardens of North Port Retirement Home. When not working, Anne loved to dance, spend time with the love of her life, Marcel and her many friends. On September 8th, 1989, Anne married Marcel Leimgruber in London, UK and they made a beautiful life together and was a loving Nana to her 4 grandchildren in Wohlen, Switzerland. In 2007 Nana and Marcel moved to North Port, FL to care for her aging parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Marcel Leimgruber, daughter Sandra Räber Leimgruber, son Andreas (Franziska) Leimgruber, grandchildren Jessica and Yanick Räber, Livia and Remo Leimgruber from Switzerland. Her parents Lucille and Alan Walker, step sister, Doreen McCollin and step brother, Lloyd Walker and a host of family and friends.
