Patrice Kathleen Grant

Obituary Patrice Kathleen Grant of Fort Collins passed away March 29, 2017. She was born June 4, 1951 in Odessa, Texas to Harold and Peggy Williams. She graduated in 1969 from Siloam Springs High School, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She graduated from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas in 1974 with a BA in music. She married Randy Screws on November 25, 1975 in Russellville, Arkansas. They moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1977. They later divorced. She taught music to K-12 in Arkansas and Colorado for 10 years. She was active in the arts in Fort Collins and Loveland through the Larimer Chorale Society. She served on all of the Boards of Directors and sang with Opera Fort Collins. She sang for 3 years with the Loveland Opera Theatre and for 10 years with the Fort Collins Chamber Chorale. She was active in Community Bible study and Bible Study Fellowship. She was a Mary Kay Cosmetics consultant for 30 years, winning a car and becoming a Sales Director. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents and nephews William and Ryan Colten. Survivors include her sister Marci and Ed Colten, niece and nephew Jillian and Seth Colten of Hurst, Texas. Cousins Donna Banks and Pam Edwards of Asheville, North Carolina, Cynthia Martin of Knoxville, Tennessee, Diane Taylor of Houston, Texas, and Randall Jones of Weimer, Texas. She will be remembered for her Christian faith, her love of music, and her love of dogs. Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Church Presbyterian, 300 Whedbee St., Fort Collins, Colorado. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Church Presbyterian.
