Barber, Patricia L., 73, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, December 3, 2010, at Edward White Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she came here in 1986 from Williamstown, NJ. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She was an active church member and belonged to the Lady Bugs as well as being active in Bible Study at the church. She was a dedicated grandmother and was very involved in all aspects of her granchildren's lives. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Edward G. Barber. She is survived by five sons: Herbert M. Scheurer, St. Petersburg, FL; Brian Scott Scheurer, Oxford, AL; Edward G. Barber, Philadelphia, PA; Mark R. Barber, Brooksville, FL; Steven R. Barber, Williamstown, NJ; seven daughters: Sandra L. Scott nee Scheurer, Jacksonville, FL; Cheryl A. Kolher, Alloway, NJ; Mary A. Neher, Williamstown, NJ; Carol Barber Kennedy, St. Petersburg, FL; Kathleen Barber Osorno, Irving, TX; Keo Scheurer, Jacksonville, FL; Norhra Barber Segura, Clearwater, FL; twenty-three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. There will be a Public Visitation from 10AM - 11AM on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Anderson-McQueen (NESP) - Heritage Hall, 2201-Dr. M.L. King Street North, St. Petersburg. A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Anderson-McQueen (NESP) - Heritage Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in her memory to Hope Lutheran Church, 1801 62nd Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33702.
