Patricia Celia Benza of N. Woodstock, N.H. passed away peacefully in Satellite Beach, FL on June 13, 2013. Born August 22, 1932 in NYC, Patricia was the only child of Teresa Celia and Thomas Patrick Lynch. She and her childhood sweetheart, Sebastian Anthony (Buz) Benza, retired Vice President of the Bank of New York, have been married for sixty years. She and Buz are the parents of five children, Regina (married to Hamdi Abdou), Thomas (married to Geralyn), Patricia (married to Warren Bahr), John (married to Debbie) and Suzanne (married to Jim Colangelo). All five children were raised in New Rochelle, NY and along with Buz, are graduates of Iona College. Pat was a loving grandmother to 11 grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Elaine Palladino (also Iona College graduates) , Thomas and his wife, Becca Benza, Andrew and wife, Ashley Palladino, Joseph and wife, Kendal Benza, Joanna Benza, Annie Bahr, Kristin Palladino, Matthew Bahr, Jesse Benza, Stephen Colangelo, Nicole Colangelo and one great grandson, Jack Benza with two more great grandsons on the way. Pat/Mom/Nannie was the rock of the family, avid reader, artist, and created many wonderful traditions, holidays and summers on Mirror Lake in N. Woodstock, NH. A wake will be held from 7-9 pm on Wednesday, June 19 at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home in N. Woodstock, NH. A mass of the Catholic Resurrection will be held at 10 am June 20, at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, NH. An immediate Burial will follow at Woodstock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Josephs Indian School, PO. BOX 300, Chamberlain, S.D. 57325.
