Blake, Patricia W. 66, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away on December 27, 2011, at Bon Secours Maria Manor under the loving care of Suncoast Hospice "Lavender Team". A special thank you also to the wonderful care of Griswold Private Caregivers, Anne Thomas, Barb Carroll and Brittany Hicks. A native to the area, Pat was born in St. Petersburg, FL on August 29, 1945. She attended Northeast High School where she competed on the Swim Team. She graduated from The University of Western Carolina and taught school at Shore Acres Elementary. Pat was married to Allen M. Blake on March 29, 1972. She was preceded in death by her father, John Patrick Williams, her step-father, Enloe Ralston Mathis and her mother, Connice Peterson Mathis. She is survived by her husband, Allen Blake; brother, Michael Mathis; nieces, Lauren Westerberg and Michelle Mathis. A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Anderson McQueen, 2201 Dr. MLK St. N., St. Petersburg, Florida. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Suncoast Hospice.
