Patricia Cavanaugh

Patricia "Honey" Cavanaugh of St. Petersburg passed away on October 29, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born in Oswego, NY on April 25, 1946. She was beautiful and fun-loving and the life of every party. She is survived by her three daughters Melissa Cavanaugh, Laura Bonilla, and Michelle Norfolk (Brian); siblings Carol Hellem, Dave Halladay (Sandi), Peggy Palfini (Joe), Jim Halladay (Diana), and grandchildren Michael Thormeier, Katelyn Schemenauer, Shelby Schemenauer, Charlie Norfolk, and Joselyn Norfolk. She was adored by her nieces and nephews Linda deJauregui (Carlos), Kelly Smith (Frank), Tammy Halladay, Jennifer Bryan (Kenny), Julie Perrelli (Pete), Joe Palfini (Liz), Jeff Palfini, Jessica Sangiorgio (David), Karen Halladay, and Brian Halladay. Everyone who met Pat felt an instant connection with her and she put people at ease with her friendly open nature. She loved to laugh and spread that energy to those around her. Her close friends were like family to her and she cared deeply for those who came into her life. She was an energetic and vibrant person with a true passion for living. Everyone who knew Pat was touched by her generosity, large heart and compassionate nature. She will be missed by all who know her and love her. A celebration of her life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday November 2, 2012 at First Unity Church, 460 46th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33703-4791. Flowers may be sent to Unity Church, or a donation may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a charity she held dear to her heart. David C.
