Patricia Ellington Cox (84) joined her heavenly family on April 21, 2021. Born in Lindale, Georgia on November 23,1936, she was retired from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine as an Administrative Assistant. Patty was an avid Gamecock fan and loved her family well. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and family and her home was always the meeting place for family events and holidays. Patty was predeceased by her daughter, Kay C. Robinson; survived by her son, James B. Cox, Jr. (Susan); daughter, Lila Lee Zamboni (Brad); grandchildren; Emily Cox (Allen), Nicholas Zamboni (Hannah), David Cox, Eric Cox, Kyle Robinson (Kendyl), Jessica Kaminer (Doug) and Douglas Cook. A memorial service will be held at Southland Memorial on May 22, 2021 at 3:00 pm for family and close friends. In lieu of flower, the family ask if you would donate to your favorite charity.
